Hickory/Wenge box with tapered, splined dovetail joints.
This cabinet started out from rough-sawn poplar, and I used the jointer, planer, table saw, miter saw, router, air gun, and cordless drill to make this from scratch.
This picture bracket utilizes the dovetail joint to bring together a beautiful piece of walnut and maple. There are no fasteners--only glue--and it holds a 70 lb picture.
This frame started out as a S4S piece of poplar, 11.5 x 72". I made up the frame design with three router bits.
