Standing light tubes ready to be lit for the night in a public park.
I like photos that play with your mind. This is a unique light pattern on our oak floor, next to the dining room table and chair.
I shot this from 2' off the floor. I was intrigued with the light from the left door and from the hole in the ceiling, halfway down the corridor. Antigua, Guatemala.
Old stairs in the corner of the now vacant and very old Seaholm power plant in Austin, TX. This shadow/silhouette of a staircase, and the small light to the left of it, caught my eye while I was waiting on the exposure for another shot. It was so dark in here, that I shot this at 1,600 ISO at f/8 for 5 seconds.
I was drawn to the beams of light from the overhead skylight and the light from the various doors to the rear and the sides. This was an old monastery in Antigua, Guatemala.
This exhaust intake captured the heat and smoke from an industrial process below.
The light is very interesting on this bench. There was a circular whole in the floor above, which let the light stream down in a beam.
