Looking straight up a the domed ceiling of the Pantheon, one of the largest such domes in the world.
Vaulted ceiling in the rear portion of the Catedral Primada, the first church of the new world (in other words, the oldest church of the western hemisphere). What seemingly arbitrary lines, creating interesting shadows and shades. Can you imagine building something like this with the tools they had available?
