Grandpa (Glenn T. Baker) sitting in a B-24 cockpit. He was a final inspection manager for the B-24 line in a converted Ford plant in Dearborn, MI, turning out more than one airplane every hour. The US produced 18,000+ B-24 airplanes for the warI. This cockpit was part of Pony Maples' static air museum, with a complete B-24 cockpit, waist gunner in fuselage, and P-51 cockpit/engine.
