Villa de Leyva is a small colonial town in the highlands of Colombia. It was founded in 1572 and remains largely untouched. It's a 4 hour drive from Bogotá, and it's perfect if you're looking for a place where time stands still.

The last (visible) vestige of her humanity removed, this "nun" was found in el Convento del Santo Ecce Homo, a Dominican convent founded in 1620, just outside Villa de Leyva, Colombia.
