Just one more thing to be grateful for: not being the electrician who has to troubleshoot something in this mess.

At first, this just looks like a mishmash of indigenous artifacts and trinkets--her clothes even fit the scheme. Then you see this little boy I'd been kidding around with. He was more amused than she was.

I couldn't help but think that this couple had walked together like this for many, many years.

This seller of spices and herbs seemed like she dressed in order to blend into the merchandise.

I caught this boy hitching a ride on a bus bumper, which wasn't really a bad idea, considering how steep this hill was. Notice that both feet are off the ground.

As someone who hates even a single sticker on my vehicle, this bus made me twitch. Notice the driver's side windshield wiper.

This picture is not very good technically, but it moved me. I snapped it from my waist, without looking through the viewfinder. His facial expression, against the background of the blue, green, and red, say something to me. I'm not sure what.

It's customary to bury a llama fetus under one corner of the foundation of your home for good luck. These were for sale in the local marketplace.
