How about a senior picture in a cemetery! Life against death. This is Tim, a good friend of mine, at a confederate cemetery near his home.
Traditional portraits bore me, so these kids (great friends of ours) got to do whatever they wanted. In this frame, I snapped a bunch of pictures when THEY thought I was just testing the camera. The best portraits are between the real shots.

I found a camera in the house we bought for $15,000. No, the camera was included, and that's all the house was worth. I found some square, medium format film (6x6 cm) and decided to guess at the exposure, using the boys as subjects in the park nearby. They turned into magical portraits, and I've left the cropping square in honor of that camera. I never shot anything else with it, have now idea what kind it was, and have no idea where it is now. There was a "regular" wedding photographer there (I hate taking family pictures), but I was there as the "artistic" photographer. I love this one. I caught the bride and groom twirling and kissing. I've shot a bunch of weddings and have always enjoyed them.
